The MAX1556AETB+T is a highly efficient, integrated, step-down voltage regulator from Analog Devices that is specifically designed for space-constrained applications. The device integrates an outer switcher along with two synchronized, high-efficiency PWM step-down converters, enabling output voltage of as low as 0.6V. The device has a switching frequency of 250 kHz and allows a maximum output current of 1.2A with incredibly low quiescent current of 16uA. Additionally, the device offers preset 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V output voltage selection. It also has various protection features including overtemperature, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and short-circuit protection.
