Independent open- drain fault signals notify the microprocessor that the 15kV ESD Protection (with Caps) internal current limit has been reached. A 20ms fault- blanking feature allows momentary faults to be ignored, Ordering Information such as those caused when hot-swapping into a capacitive load.
