The MAX485EESA+T is a RS-422/RS-485 interface IC designed by Analog Devices, Inc. It is an ESD (electro-static discharge) protected, slew-rate-limited, and low-power transceiver. It supports data communications up to speeds of 10 Mbps. The part has a robust ±15 kV ESD protection, which exceeds the ISO standard for ISO10605 on all ports. The part also features a low-power sleep mode, where the part consumes just 30 µA of current, and it can run off a single +5 V, +3.3 V, or +2.5 V supply. This part is suitable for applications that need extended temperature rating (-40 °C to +125 °C).
