The MAX5099 is a 5.2V to 19V Input Supply Voltage Range dual-output, synchronous step-down DC-DC convert- Configurable to Work from 4.5V to 5.5V Input er. The EV kit is powered from a DC supply providing Supply Voltage Range 5.2V to 19V and up to 5A. The EV kit can also be 5V at 2A Output (Converter 1) reconfigured for an input range between 4.5V to 5.5V. 3.3V at 1A Output (Converter 2) The EV kit is designed to withstand a load-dump con- 180 Out-of-Phase Operation Reduces Input dition up to 80V. Capacitance The MAX5099 EV kit can deliver 5V at 2A from the first Configurable Switching Frequency (200kHz to step-down DC-DC converter output and 3.3V at up to 2.2MHz) 1A from the second step-down DC-DC converter out- Individual Enable Inputs and SYNC Input put. The MAX5099 switching frequency is set to 1.9MHz, and the two outputs switch 180 out-of-phase Power-On Sequencing with respect to each other. A SYNC input facilitates Low-Cost Solution external frequency synchronization of the EV kit. The 5V Evaluates the MAX5099/MAX5098A in a 32-Pin converter switching frequency is configurable to half (5mm x 5mm) TQFN Package that of the 3.3V converter. The EV kit includes a shut- Lead-Free and RoHS Compliant down feature, converter power-up sequencing, and Fully Assembled and Tested individual converter enables.
