MAX6301MAX6304 19-1078 Rev 4 9/10 +5V, Low-Power P Supervisory Circuits with Adjustable Reset/Watchdog General Description Features The MAX6301MAX6304* low-power microprocessor Adjustable Reset Threshold (P) supervisory circuits provide maximum adjustability Adjustable Reset Timeout for reset and watchdog functions. The reset threshold Adjustable Watchdog Timeout can be adjusted to any voltage above 1.22V, using external resistors. In addition, the reset and watchdog 500x Watchdog Timeout Multiplier timeout periods are adjustable using external capaci- 4A Supply Current tors. A watchdog select pin extends the watchdog time- RESET or RESET Output Options out period to 500x. The reset function features immunity Push-Pull or Open-Drain Output Options to power-supply transients. Guaranteed RESET Asserted At or Above These four devices differ only in the structure of their reset outputs (see the Selector Guide). The MAX6301MAX6304 V = 1V (MAX6301/MAX6303) CC are available in the space-saving 8-pin MAX package, Power-Supply Transient Immunity as well as 8-pin PDIP and SO packages.
