MAX6332/MAX6333/ 3-Pin, Ultra-Low-Voltage, Low-Power MAX6334 P Reset Circuits General Description Benefits and Features The MAX6332/MAX6333/MAX6334 microprocessor (P) Ultra-Low 0.7V Operating Supply Voltage supervisory circuits monitor the power supplies in 1.8V to Low 3.3A Supply Current 3.3V P and digital systems. They increase circuit reliability Precision Monitoring of 1.8V and 2.5V Power- Supply and reduce cost by eliminating external components and Voltages adjustments. Reset Thresholds Available from 1.6V to 2.5V, These devices perform a single function: they assert a in Approximately 100mV Increments reset signal whenever the V supply voltage declines CC below a preset threshold, keeping it asserted for a preset Fully Specified Over Temperature timeout period after V has risen above the reset CC Three Power-On Reset Pulse Widths Available threshold. The only difference among the three devices (1ms min, 20ms min, 100ms min) is their output. The MAX6333 (push/pull) and MAX6334 Low Cost (open-drain) have an active-low RESET output, while the Three Available Output Structures: Push/Pull MAX6332 (push/pull) has an active-high RESET output. RESET, Push/Pull RESET, Open-Drain RESET The MAX6332/MAX6333 are guaranteed to be in the correct state for V down to 0.7V. The MAX6334 is guaranteed CC Guaranteed RESET/RESET Valid to V = 0.7V CC to be in the correct state for V down to 1.0V. CC (MAX6332/MAX6333) The reset comparator in these ICs is designed to ignore Power-Supply Transient Immunity fast transients on V .
