The MAX6675ISA+T is an Analog Devices Sensor Interface Cold-Junction-Compensated K-Thermocouple-to-Digital Converter. It is designed to digitally convert thermocouple E, J, K, N, R, S, T, and B measurements into digital signals for processing by microcontrollers. It operates over a temperature range of 0°C to +1024°C with a thermocouple open detection accuracy of ±0.5°C or ±1°C depending on the type of thermocouple in use. The on-chip cold-junction compensator adds minimal self-heating on the thermocouple, eliminating the need for any external cold-junction compensation. The converter provides 12-bit resolution and features an SPI-compatible serial interface, automatic shut-down, and zero-crossing detection. It is offered in an 8-pin SOIC package, and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
