The MAX705ESA+T with Supervisory Circuits Low-Cost, uP Supervisory Circuits from Analog Devices is designed to provide efficient power management for single-board computers, PC motherboards, and other applications requiring a microcontroller or processor watchdog timer. This device monitors nodes like the power supply, voltage, current, and temperature of battery-powered systems, and it can reset the system if any one of these values reaches a pre-determined level. The product provides two programmable reset outputs, an active-low reset signal (RESET) for at least 10µS, and an active-high reset signal (RSET) for at least 0.2ms. The device is available in a four-pin, SOT23-5 package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
