The TMC2225-SA-T is a Motor/Motion/Ignition Controller & Driver IC manufactured by Analog Devices. This Stepper Motor Driver IC is designed for use in applications such as 3D printers, robotics, CNC, and other applications which require precision motor control. It is capable of driving up to 2 Amps with a power supply range of 4.75-36V.The IC also features Step/Dir, UART, and HTSSOP28 packaging. It is capable of noise-free, high-resolution microstepping with up to 256 microsteps per full-step. The controller also features integrated stallGuard2 stall detection technology for instant stall recognition. This makes it ideal for applications which require precise motion control. The driver is also protected against over temperature, undervoltage, overtemperature and step-pulse rate exceeding the maximum limit.
