The FHDM 12P5001 is part of Baumer's family of FROTECTOR High Temperature Encoders. It is a high-resolution, absolute multiturn encoder. It has a 12-bit resolution, a 500 PPR/rev count, and is factory-calibrated. The encoder features a low-profile, stainless steel housing with an IP64 rating. It is designed to operate in temperatures up to +135°C, has high accuracy and reliable performance, and is RoHS compliant. It is ideal for use in harsh environments and applications requiring precise feedback or positioning. It has a shaft diameter of up to 6mm and can be used with either a hollow or solid shaft.
