It can be powered via a USB bus or a 10-30 VDC external power source (not included, NOTE: sold separately). (1) Because of the USB 3.0 isolation requirement, when BB-USH304 is connected to a USB 2.0 host, downstream ports will not accept USB 3.0 devices.
