Bel Fuse’s UMTS two-part architecture is designed to help operators set up their broadband networks. It includes a Radio Access network (RAN), which is comprised of mobile base stations and antennas for transmitting signals, and a Core Network, which is responsible for user authentication, subscriber registration, billing, and data routing. The system also supports mobility management across networks and roaming, allowing users to instantly have access to their information when travelling. The infrastructure supports high-speed data services such as streaming audio and video, file transfer, gaming, image/video conferencing, and Web applications.
