It is used mainly for filtering, bypassing, blocking, or coupling applications in power electronics, switching, current sensing, and signal filtering circuits. The capacitor is made of a combination of conductive aluminum foil, aluminum oxide film, and electrolyte. It provides a high capacitance and a high insulation resistance. It has a maximum working voltage of 400V, a max leakage current of 0.01CV or 3 µA (whichever is greater) during a 24-hour period at +105°C, and a tolerance of ±20%. The capacitor is RoHS compliant and is UL-recognized.
