It features a snap-in design and is RoHS compliant for use in European Union countries. The cutoff has a fixed temperature tripping characteristic of 100°C and it is a manual reset type. This device is designed to open automatically when the temperature reaches the trip temperature, and then it must be manually reset by pressing the button on the top of the device. This thermal cutoff is used in applications such as power tools, automotive appliances, electric motors, diagnostic equipment, and many more.
