SMPT-UWCTR Bivar

SMPT-UWCTR (Simultaneous Multi-Point Tracking and Unified WorkCell Tracking and Reconciliation) is a system developed at the University of Washington Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering (UCSNE) that provides a multi-modal, high-fidelity autonomous system for tracking the placement and movement of items in a manufacturing environment. It enables manufacturers to locate objects during assembly and in various stages of a production cycle, as well as tracking time- and cost-related data for production management. The system utilizes input from multiple sensors including cameras and RFID tags, as well as computer algorithms to determine the tracking data for items in the production line. Additionally, the system can collect energy data for the manufacturing environment, allowing for more efficient utilization of resources. The system also incorporates a sensory platform that provides the core infrastructure for tracking and controlling the production environment, thereby enabling manufacturers to improve their quality control processes.
