The B61089-17C Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) is a surface-mounted device (SOP-8-150mil) designed and manufactured by Bourne. This GDT is RoHS compliant and features an 8-pin configuration with a low capacitance structure. It is designed for switching and transient overvoltage protection of telecom, CATV, LAN, and other signal lines, and can also be used for signal blocking, line-to-line interference protection, and AC power line surge and noise protection. The B61089-17C offers a high withstand voltage, fast response time, and excellent peak pulse current capability. This GDT satisfies the requirements of the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard for ESD protection.
