BEP0080MA with Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) SOD-123 RoHSis a surface mountable device manufactured by Bourne. It consists of a SOD-123 package with multiple Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs). It is RoHS compliant and designed to protect sensitive electrical equipment from transient voltages by providing an efficient and fast overvoltage protection. This device is specifically designed to avert any damage to the sensitive electrical components caused by overvoltage. It also has a fast response time to high-voltage transients. The GDTs within the device are designed to break down and dissipate transient impulses through internal sparkover. It is able to protect equipment across a wide variety of industries, including personal computers, automotive, and industrial applications. It is also able to provide enhanced protection against ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) for sensitive electrical components and boards.
