They offer excellent transient energy absorption due to improved energy volume distribution and power dissipation. Low voltage varistors cover a wide DC operating voltage range U from 3 V to 170 V. In addition, the ZV series exhibits independent suppression characteristics enabling stable protection over a wide temperature range of -55 to +125 C. ZV varistors are typically applied to protect integrated circuits and other components at the circuit board level.
