EC5-BL is a type of enclosed junction box made by Box Enclosures that is designed for outdoor use. It is made of polycarbonate and is rated to IP67 and NEMA enclosure rating types 4 and 4X. The size of this enclosure is 5"H x 7"W x 3.68"D, and it has a flat, seamless lid providing a flat, attractive surface to protect the terminals inside. This enclosure also has an extended back panel that can be used to securely mount terminal blocks, giving extra mounting options. There are four stainless steel mounting posts inside and these are recessed to protect the wiring. In addition, the EC5-BL includes a separate plastic terminal section, enabling external access via a gasketed plate, without having to open the enclosure. This junction box is ideal for industrial and commercial applications, providing a great deal of protection for electrical components.
