Automation
703-1263-01 is a Peripheral Interface Board (PIB) manufactured by Brooks Automation. This board is used with the Performance 8 microcontroller as an interface between peripheral devices and microcontroller. The PIB is designed to be a complete off-the-shelf solution for system designers, providing them with an easy to use interface between the microcontroller and various peripherals including analog-to-digital converters, pulse-width modulation (PWM), frequency input and output, and Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). It is also designed to be used with both the 8-bit and 16-bit versions of the Performance 8 microcontroller. The PIB has two general purpose output ports, two general purpose input ports, one analog input port, one pulse-width modulation (PWM) port, one frequency input port, one frequency output port, and one Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) port.
