The Bud Industries JL-22800 is a junction box designed to offer protection from weather, dust, oil and vibration. The box is constructed from aluminum, and the standard lid is made from an ABS plastic. Other lid options, such as stainless steel, are available. The box is designed for indoor and outdoor use, and is rated for NEMA 250 Type 4X applications. This means that the box is designed to protect against corrosion, weather, water and hose-directed stream spraying. The box is designed to work with a variety of conduit sizes, and is available in four sizes (6", 8", 10" and 13"). The JL-22800 junction box also features a gasketed door, tamper-resistant hardware, and the ability to accept wall mount plates or mounting hardware.
