EM24 Carlo Gavazzi's EM24 is composed of a network of three-phase energy meters (EM versions), PR3e end-of-line GPO devices and PR3c mid-line devices. The EM24 is designed to allow maximum flexibility when it comes to installing and using energy monitoring solutions. The PR3e is an end-of-line GPO (General Purpose Output) device that provides a direct connection between the EM meter and the user’s electrical infrastructure or applications such as lighting and motor control. The device carries up to 3 sensing elements, providing the opportunity for 3-phase monitoring and reactive power measurements. The PR3c is the mid-line solution for the EM24 system, supporting 1-phase and 3-phase measurements. It consists of a compact, user-powered solution that can be remotely updated and managed. This can be used as a cost-effective alternative to the PR3e and is perfect for applications such as dedicated individual loads monitoring, load control and demand response.
