Additional Infomation About Product

The CR6257 is a Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) from Chip-Rail designed to optimize the power distribution and control process. It is an 8-pin SOP-8 RoHS package that has low on-resistance and low conduction losses, making it well-suited for applications where power consumption and efficiency are of critical concern. The CR6257 is a current mode P-channel MOSFET switch with three levels of over-current protection: OCP Mode 1 (short circuit), OCP Mode 2 (over current protection) and OCP Mode 3 (multi-level current limit). The CR6257 also includes a built-in programmable de-bounce circuit which can be used to reduce the amount of transistions (turn on time). Additionally, the CR6257 has a high gate drive voltage (4.5V) making it suitable for high-side and low-side high-side applications. Finally, the CR6257 is RoHS compliant meaning that it is designed in a way that has minimal environmental impact.
