The CR6359 with PMIC - Power Distribution Switches SOP-8 RoHS from Chip-Rail is a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed for automotive and portable applications. The device integrates eight low-side power distribution switches in a SOP-8 RoHS package. The device is capable of switching resistive, capacitive and inductive loads, as well as circuit protection against over-current conditions, overtemperature and electrostatic discharge. The switches feature a wide operating voltage range of 3.0 V to 23 V and can handle up to 1.0 A, with a low current consumption of 9 µA typ. The device integrates features such as thermal shutdown and power-on reset for improved protection and reliability. Additionally, the CR6359 features a low Rds(on) of about 50 mO (at VDR) to minimize power losses.
