The CL4056D8F with DFN-8L(2x2) Battery Management ICs is an integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by ChipLink, an innovative semiconductor company founded in 1996. It is a dual-channel, 8 pin, RoHS compliant device which is designed to monitor, measure, and protect a Li-ion/Li-polymer battery in multiple cell applications. It is equipped with built-in balancing, NTC temperature sense, and calculated state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) monitoring. The dual-channel circuits of the device provide a precise, self-calibrating method for battery current measurement. The device also gives user access to open-circuit voltage (OCV) measurement allowing the measurement of battery cells without sacrificing efficiency. The CL4056D8F with supports low current draw operation cycle (25 µA), low quiescent current draw (1 µA), and wide cell-voltage range (2V-5V).
