The ChipLink CL4064M with SOT-23-5L is an advanced Battery Management Integrated Circuit (BMIC) fabricated on an advanced CMOS process technology. It is designed for use in consumer and industrial applications where Monitoring, Protection, and Charging of Li-Ion batteries is required. It integrates a 15V, 250mA voltage regulator, System Voltage Supervision, 1.8µA Shutdown Mode, Over-voltage (threshold: 4.4V), Under-voltage, Over-temperature (160°C) Protection, and Open/Short Detection capability. This eliminates the need for additional system components such as discrete passives, complex switching circuitry and/or additional IC’s, thus resulting in a reduction in board space as well as cost. The RoHS version of the product is fully compliant with EU Directive 2011/65/EU.
