CIH2060 is a part of the Cliff Digital Collections project. It is a database of high-resolution, digitized images from a variety of archaeological and historical sites throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The images are contributed by partners from non-profit and research institutions, museums, cultural heritage organizations, and private collections from around the world. They are compiled and curated to provide a rich and easy-to-use collection for scholars, students, and the public. The images are organized into smaller collections and can be searched by keyword or category. A basic set of metadata, such as geographic location and date, is included with each image. The database is hosted on the University of Reading's Cliff system, which provides access to a variety of digital resources.
