The LA-30 is a segment of the town of Coto, Puerto Rico. It is comprised of some of the densest residential areas in the area. This includes Barrios such as Palmas de Coto, San Jose, Las Marías, El Pilar, El Roble, El Paraíso and other small barrios. Because of the sheer number of homes, the population of this area is around 12,000. Residents of LA-30 often rely on each other for resources and services due to the lack of nearby stores and access to public transportation. This has led to a strong sense of community among the residents. The barrios of LA-30 are still home to some of the oldest structures in Coto today, most notably the Church of San Jose, which was built in 1875.
