The S6-1C90 is a dual-channel proximity sensor manufactured by Datasensor. This device is a self-powered inductive proximity sensor, a type of non-contact position sensing device. It uses an alternating magnetic field to detect the presence of metal objects within several millimeters of the sensor’s sensing face. The S6-1C90 can detect objects made out of different materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper.
