-Sigma ADC The FX2 part of a Delta-Sigma Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) is the “feedback loop” – a closed loop configuration that maintains a stable sampling rate for the ADC by taking the output of the converter back to its input. This loop helps to reduce quantization error and allows the ADC to achieve higher performance with its Delta-Sigma architecture. The FX2 loop also helps to reduce clock jitter and improve linearity.
