FPGA family The ARTY Z7-20 from Digilent is a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) family device built on the Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC architecture. It consists of two different parts: the Processing System (PS) and the Programmable Logic (PL). The PS contains a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor that operates at up to 650 MHz and provides a variety of buses including Ethernet, USB, SATA, and other peripherals. The PL is composed of Xilinx 7-series FPGAs with up to 12,000 logic cells and a banker of 18-Kbit Block RAM, along with several high-speed transceivers. It offers a wide range of software and hardware development tools compatible with it and provides high performance and flexibility to work with many applications. It can be used in various fields such as communications, healthcare, automotive, industrial, and many more.
