The AH180-PG-B from Diodes Incorporated is a board mount Hall effect magnetic sensor. It integrates a Hall effect sensor IC, an ambient temperature compensation, and a Schmitt trigger into a single package. This sensor is ideal for low speed motion detection applications. The device operates over a wide voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and features low current consumption. It can detect magnetic fluctuations as small as 3mT and its response time is within 5µs typical. Furthermore, the AH180-PG-B features an on-off output with an LED indicator, and is designed to reduce EMI noise susceptibility.
