AP62250 4.2V TO 18V INPUT, 2.5A LOW IQ SYNCHRONOUS BUCK CONVERTER Description Pin Assignments The AP62250 is a 2.5A, synchronous buck converter with a wide input voltage range of 4.2V to 18V. The device fully integrates a 75m high- side power MOSFET and a 45m low-side power MOSFET to provide (Top View) high-efficiency step-down DC-DC conversion. The AP62250 device is easily used by minimizing the external (Top View) GND 1 6 BST component count due to its adoption of Constant On-Time (COT) control to achieve fast transient response, easy loop stabilization, and VIN 1 6 FB low output voltage ripple. SW 2 5 EN SW 2 5 EN The AP62250 design is optimized for Electromagnetic Interference GND 3 4 BST (EMI) reduction. The device has a proprietary gate driver scheme to VIN 3 4 FB resist switching node ringing without sacrificing MOSFET turn-on and SOT563 (Standard) turn-off times, which reduces high-frequency radiated EMI noise caused by MOSFET switching. TSOT26 (Standard) AP62250 is available in SOT563 (Standard) and TSOT26 (Standard) packages.
