New Product Brief Product Databrief PI2EQX502T 1.2V 5.0Gbps, 1-port (2-Channel) USB3.0 ReDriver Pericom Semiconductors PI2EQX502T is a low power, high Features performance 5.0 Gbps signal ReDriver designed specifically for the USB 3.0 protocol. The device provides programmable USB 3.0 compatible equalization and De-Emphasis to optimize performance Full Compliancy to USB3.0 Super Speed Standard over a variety of physical mediums by reducing Inter-Symbol Interference. PI2EQX502T supports two 100 Differential Two 5.0Gbps differential signal pairs CML data I/Os between the Protocol ASIC to a switch fabric, Adjustable Receiver Equalization over cable, or to extend the signals across other distant data 100 Differential CML I/Os pathways on the users platform. Pin Configured Output Emphasis Control The integrated equalization circuitry provides flexibility with Programmable Output Swing signal integrity of the signal before the ReDriver. A low- level input signal detection and output squelch function Input signal level detect and squelch for each channel is provided for each channel. Each channel operates fully Automatic Receiver Detect independently. The channels input signal level (on xI+/-) Low Power : 135mW 10% determines whether the output is active. If the input signal AutoSlumbe mode for adaptive power level of the channel falls below the active threshold level management (Vth-) then the outputs are driven to the common mode voltage. Single Supply Voltage: 1.2V The PI2EQX502T also includes an automatic receiver detect Packaging: 16-Pin TQFN function. The receiver detection loop will be active again if the corresponding channels signal detector is idle for longer than 7.3mS. The channel will then move to Unplug Application Diagram Mode if load not detected, or it will return to Low Power Mode (Slumber Mode) due to inactivity.
