PI4IOE5V9554 PI4IOE5V9554A 2 8-bit I C-bus and SMBus I/O port with interrupt Features Description Operation power supply voltage from 2.3V to 5.5 V The PI4IOE5V9554 and PI4IOE5V9554A provide 8 2 bits of General Purpose parallel Input/Output (GPIO) 8-bit I C-bus GPIO with interrupt and reset 2 expansion for I C-bus/SMBus applications. It includes 5V tolerant I/Os the features such as higher driving capability, 5V Polarity inversion register tolerance, lower power supply, individual I/O Active LOW interrupt output configuration, and smaller packaging. It provides a simple solution when additional I/O is needed for ACPI Low current consumption power switches, sensors, push buttons, LEDs, fans, etc. 0Hz to 400KHz clock frequency The PI4IOE5V9554/PI4IOE5V9554A consist of an Noise filter on SCL/SDA inputs 8-bit register to configure the I/Os as either inputs or Power-on reset outputs, and an 8-bit polarity register to change the polarity of the input port register data. The data for each ESD protection (4KV HBM and 1KV CDM) input or output is kept in the corresponding Input port or Offered in four different packages: SOIC-16, Output port register. All registers can be read by the TSSOP-16 and TQFN 3x3-16, TQFN 4x4-16 system master. The PI4IOE5V9554/PI4IOE5V9554A open-drain interrupt output is activated and indicate to the system when any input state has changed. The power-on reset sets the registers to their default values and initializes the device state machine. Three hardware pins (A0, A1, A2) vary the fixed 2 I C-bus address and allow up to eight devices to share 2 the same I C-bus/SMBus.
