The DIO5644 utilizes a 2MHz Accurate and Programmable LED Current or 4MHz fixed-frequency synchronous boost Range from 1.4mA to 1.5A converter to provide power to the dual 128 level Optimized Flash LED Current During Low current sources provide the flexibility to adjust Battery Conditions (IVFM) the current ratios between LED1 and LED2. An >87% Efficiency in Torch Mode ( 100mA) adaptive regulation method ensures the current and Flash Mode ( 1A to 1.5A) sources remain in regulation and maximizes Grounded Cathode LED Operation for efficiency. Improved Thermal Management Small Solution Size: <16mm Features of the DIO5644 are controlled via an Hardware Strobe Enable (STROBE) 2 I C-compatible interface. These features include: Synchronization Input for RF Power Amplifier hardware flash and hardware torch pins (STROBE Pulse Events (TX) and TORCH/TEMP), a TX interrupt and an NTC Hardware Torch Enable (TORCH/TEMP) thermistor monitor. The device offers Remote NTC Monitoring (TORCH/TEMP) 2 independently programmable currents in each 400kHz I C-Compatible Interface output leg to drive the LEDS in a Flash or Movie Mode (Torch) condition. The 2-MHz or 4-MHz switching frequency options, Applications overvoltage protection(OVP), and adjustable current limit allow for the use of tiny, low-profile Camera Phone White LED Flash inductors and (10F) ceramic capacitors.
