D-3270 is a bridge in Regensburg, Germany, on the River Danube. It is the longest spanning steel arch bridge in Europe, measuring 453 meters in length. Built between 1983 and 1988, the bridge is a suspension bridge with seven steel arches and a total of 32 stay cables. When the bridge was built, it was considered to be one of the most ambitious engineering projects in Europe, and it remains a major engineering masterpiece. The bridge provides access to the town of Regensburg, and is part of a more extensive network of roads and waterways in the region, connecting Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
