D-HSS20 is a high-speed railway line between Donaueschingen and Hausach in the south of Germany. Constructed in 1993, this line is an important part of the Donaueschingen-Stuttgart Line and it is used extensively for intercity passenger travel. It is also used by freight, connecting the important ports at Biberach, Ulm and Hausach with terminals in Donaueschingen and Stuttgart. The D-HSS20 line is electrically powered, with maximum speeds of up to 200 km/h and overhead catenary to supply electrical power to locomotives and other rolling stock. The line has five stations, Donaueschingen, Stralau, Ebringen, Schenkenzell, and Hausach.
