The Donau MT170K0 is a rugged and reliable 5-speed manual transmission designed to provide optimum performance in medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles. It features an open-center non-directional clutch system and a two-stage helical input and output gears. The transmission includes low-speed and reverse ratios and a wide selection of intermediate ratios for easy maneuvering. The MT170K0 also boasts a robust lever arrangement for easy shifting as well as an integrated parking lock. The transmission has also been designed with an automatic clutch protection system to reduce the risk of clutch damage due to rapid acceleration.
