The 5962-8868901QA ZILOG IC is a high-performance 8-bit CMOS microcontroller specifically designed for applications that require low-power operation, enhanced memory and peripheral functions, and good real-time control capabilities. It has an integrated Flash memory and on-chip RAM and an asynchronous SIO module. The core processor is based on the Intel 80C51 architecture, and it has five 8-bit data ports (A, B, C, D, and E) and two 16-bit timers/counters. The device comes in a 48-pin plastic DIP package. It is able to address both bytewise and wordwise operations. It also has five interrupt sources, two pulse-width modulated outputs, and an analog-to-digital converter. The ZILOG has a maximum frequency of up to 24 MHz and operates at a supply voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5 Volts.
