CY7C343B-35JI is an asynchronous memory controller IC manufactured by Cypress Semiconductor. This device is a low-power static RAM controller with integrated functions, providing 16K-bit synchronous or async static RAM or ROM access with either 1MB or 4MB address space and data bus. This device has 1KB Command/Data Register (CDR) and 8-Kb external memory that can be pre-programmed or downloaded. It is designed to be used with wide variety of microcontroller and provides fast access time of up to 3.5 us. The CY7C343B-34JI offers generic control for static RAM of up to 36 bits wide and non-volatile static RAM of up to 32 bits wide. This device provides low-power operation, as well as a thermal pad for better temperature control. The IC features various features like Static and Dynamic Operating Modes, Address Latching, Data Fetch, Page Mode, and Linear Sequencing of Data. Furthermore, it has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
