14-060.907 is part of the Edwards Aquifer Authority's Rules prohibiting the use of waste in the aquifer system. Waste is defined as "any liquid, gas, solid, or other matter or any combination of such materials that is discharged, deposited, injected, spilled, leak, applied, or otherwise released into the environment". This rule makes it illegal to discharge waste into the aquifer system, to prevent it from becoming contaminated.
