The EPM75CH180 part of Easy Braid is an EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory) integrated circuit. This device allows the user to store permanently any data that needs to be retained between power cycles. As its name implies, this type of memory can be reprogrammed when required. Features of this device include: 180 Kbits of on-chip memory, a maximum clock frequency of 20 MHz, an operating voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, a programmable write-cycle time, and a typical read cycle time of 250 ns.
