The Eaton-Peabody Laboratories (EPL) is an research facility at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary located in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. It is considered one of the world's top hearing research and educational centers and serves as a training facility for otolaryngologists, scientists and audiologists. The facility is divided into two sections, the Eaton-Peabody Laboratory and the Eaton-Peabody Sound Lab. The Laboratory is home to a wide array of research studies and experiments in audiology, hearing, acoustics, and hearing-related diseases, while the Sound Lab is primarily used to develop and evaluate hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other technologies. The EPL's Research and Development Division focuses on advancing and developing hearing and related technologies, while the Training and Education Division offers courses and workshops for medical professionals, technicians and researchers.
