The FP80 line of axial fans from ebm-papst are variable-speed axial fans that can achieve notable efficiency levels and feature a slim design. The low-noise and cost-effective fans are intended for heat dissipation in computers and other electronic equipment, such as servers, amplifiers, inverters, and switch cabinets. The FP80 series features fan sizes of 80, 88, and 92mm, providing airflows of 139 to 207 m³/h and maximum pressures of 1,030 to 1,608 pa. The fans spin at between 800 and 3,600 rpm, and have been designed with double-shielded ball bearings to ensure they offer improved service life. The fans are equipped with an integral operating temperature sensor, a PWM input, and a pulse generator, allowing them to automatically adjust their speed according to the temperature of the equipment within which they are installed. Thanks to the fan’s low-noise design, it is well suited to applications in which low-noise operation is essential. The FP80 series is certified to conform with UL, VDE, and CE safety standards.
