SWA20L is a silicone-based thermal interface material produced by Electrolube. It is designed for vertically and horizontally mounted cooling components, such as resistors, transistors, MOSFETs, IGBTs, LEDs, and semiconductors. The material is soft and conformal, able to reduce the surface area of contact between the cooling components and their heat sinks. SWA20L is composed of soft silicone colorless gel, is nickel-free, and is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. Its shear strength is 17 N/cm2, thermal conductivity is 2.0 W/m·K, and thermal impedance is 0.15 K·cm2/kW. The material is packaged in easy-to-apply cartridges and is designed for fast and smooth application.
