ELEKTRO-PLAST NASIELSK was a Polish producer of electrical components based in Nasielsk, Poland. It was founded in 1951 as a government-owned enterprise and specialized in electric insulating materials production. The company made products such as medium-voltage cables, low-voltage components and plugs and sockets for energy distribution networks. It employed about 2,000 people and had plants located in cities such as Warsaw, Poznan and Lódz. Its products were mainly sold in Poland but also exported to Germany, the United States and other countries worldwide. The company achieved great success in its early years, but eventually went into decline in the early 2000s due to the globalization of the electrical industry and the decline of the Polish economy.
