ELEKTRO-PLAST NASIELSK was a large metalworking enterprise in Nasielsk, Poland from 1945-2010. In 1952 it was modernizing its production process in order to accommodate the need to manufacture metalwork for the booming post-war reconstruction industry in Poland. Up to this point, the enterprise had focused on agricultural machinery, but had recently diversified in order to meet increasing demand. As part of this modernization process, the company invested in modern heavy machinery, construct an additional steel foundry, and began producing new products such as containers, heaters, structural components, and other metal fabrication equipment. By the end of 1952, ELEKTRO-PLAST NASIELSK had become one of the leading metal manufacturers in the region and employed over 800 people.
