2. Body: The 8783 series features a robust, die-cast zinc body with zinc or stainless steel cover and is available in a grey or black finish. A sealed polyamide O-ring at the top of the body provides help to ensure an increased IP study level.
3. Fork and Collet: The fork and stainless steel collet of the 8783 series provide an improved protection level and an over-tightening stop for the shaft, ensuring the desired tightness of the connection.
4. Handle: For manual operation, the 8783 series includes a lever handle for easy and secure operation. It has been designed for maximum ergonomics and a comfortable feel when closing/opening the clamping jaw.
5. Jaw: The main contact element of the 8783 series is the two-part jaw, which combines the serrated teeth together with a carbon steel plate. It provides both a high grip level and a good torque transfer.
