The EMX-FP-0610 is an intelligent, high speed Ethernet switch processor with a built-in ARM Cortex-A7 RISC processor core. It implements a powerful and versatile layer 2/3 Ethernet switching protocol stack targeted for industrial networking applications. The switch processor is intended to provide an easy-to-use, low-cost, high-performance solution for Ethernet switching. It is designed to support a variety of communication protocols, including a VLAN-aware learning bridge and fast forwarding engine. The EMX-FP-0610 supports up to 16 ports, each of which can support both 10/100Mbps and 1000Mbps transmission speeds. The switch processor also features a non-blocking, non-overlapping switch fabric with a maximum forwarding rate of 16.8Gbps. Additionally, the EMX-FP-0610 supports multiple industrial protocols, including SNMP, RMON, DHCP and Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP).
